How to apply?
Simply read the job listing and follow the instructions under the “How to apply” section. Each role application has different requirements, so be sure to read carefully.
Are internships available?
What is the hiring process?
Can I apply for multiple roles?
Is remote work possible?
The hiring process varies by role so it is crucial you read the job advertisement thoroughly. Whether you can follow the stated application process is part of the sifting stage. If a candidate applies for a role, but does so in a way other than that stated in the role advertisement, then they have already shown their inability to ingest and understand the requirements. Generally the recruitment process below management level is one to three stages. Stage one: apply following instructions. Stage two: interview. Some roles require a demonstration of ability or character, so include a presentation or example of work for an additional stage.
Absolutely! If it's possible to make a role a remote one, then it’s possible to work remotely. We value diversity and work life balance. We want our colleagues to enjoy life, not simply work to live.
Yes, you can apply for any roles that match your skills and interests, or reach out to us to request if a new role may be created to accommodate you.
So long as you can demonstrate suitability for the role, you may apply to as many as you wish - we won’t hold it against you. We highly value candidates who show initiative and are flexible in their approach to career paths.
Narrative and Communications Assistant
Job Title: Communications & Storytelling Assistant (Entry Level)
Location: Remote (Africa)
Employment Type: Full-time / Contract
Salary Range: ₦90 000 – ₦150,000/month (or your local equivalent)
About the Role
We are seeking a sharp, curious, and discreet writer to assist in the development of long-form narratives for a confidential creative project operating within the international art and luxury space. This is not a standard PR role. You will be helping to build a "backstory" for an anonymous artist—drafting press releases, artist statements, fictional and non-fictional articles, and correspondence.
The best candidates will have a natural talent for storytelling, a love of reading, and the maturity to handle confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
Draft press releases and media materials in the voice of an anonymous artist/art galleries/critics.
Write short fictional articles and blog posts that mimic independent journalism.
Compose "I once met the artist" and social proof anecdotes.
Assist in maintaining a consistent narrative voice across multiple platforms.
Conduct light research on art world language, luxury market trends, and collector psychology.
Requirements (Must-Haves)
Education: Fluent in English, knowledge of Journalism, Mass Communication, History, or any related field.
Portfolio/Writing Sample: if successful in the first round, you will be asked to provide 2-3 samples of creative or journalistic writing of your choice.
Tone Control: Ability to write in different voices (formal, poetic, conversational, business-like).
Discretion: Must be willing to sign a strict NDA. This project is confidential.
Software: Comfortable with use of AI (or willing to learn), ability to use Word or similar, Teams (or willing to learn) and email.
Access to a computer/laptop/tablet on which to do your work.
Nice-to-Haves (Not Required)
Some familiarity with the art world (even if just following artists on Instagram).
Experience ghostwriting for a boss or a social media account.
A personal blog or a Medium account.
Who You Are
You are the friend who texts the funniest or most interesting stories.
You are naturally curious about why people love certain things.
You understand the difference between "marketing hype" and "a good story."
You are a naturally positive person with ambition and drive to be the best. Mediocre or average won't do for this role.
What's in it for you
You'll be part of a small, discreet team who value honest communication and accountability. You won't be judged for where you are from, or what background you have - your value is in who you are today, who you strive to be, and how you value others. Although this is essentially a contract role, you will get paid holiday (everyone needs rest to be the best), and the contract is open ended with promotion potential as the role grows. You can choose your own hours, whatever you feel works best for both your home life and the role itself.
How to Apply
Send your CV and a brief cover letter or intro video explaining your favourite book or article of the last year (does not have to be art related) to contact@africanalliance.group
Digital Engagement Assistant
Job Title: Digital Engagement Assistant (Entry Level – Forum & Reddit Specialist)
Location: Remote (Africa)
Employment Type: Full-time / Contract
Salary Range: ₦85,000 – ₦140,000/month (or your local equivalent)
About the Role
We are looking for a young, internet-native professional to help build grassroots awareness for an exclusive, anonymous artist. Your job is not to shout "buy my art." Your job is to quietly participate in online communities (Reddit, luxury forums, finance forums) in a way that feels natural, human, and interesting.
You will post comments, share anecdotes, and start conversations that make people curious about the artist. Think of yourself as a digital gardener—planting seeds of interest over several months. This role requires patience, emotional intelligence, and a deep understanding of online etiquette (so you don't get banned).
Key Responsibilities
Create and manage anonymous accounts on Reddit, RolexForums, FerrariChat, LuxuryLiving, and similar platforms.
Post pre-written anecdotes and comments that sound like real collectors or curious bystanders.
Monitor threads for opportunities to naturally mention the artist.
Upvote, reply, and engage in a way that builds credibility over time.
Report weekly on engagement metrics (views, replies, upvotes, questions).
Requirements (Must-Haves)
Internet Native: You understand Reddit culture, subreddit rules, forum signatures, and what "karma" means.
Writing Skills: You can write casual, believable English that doesn't sound like an ad.
Patience: You understand that building a reputation on forums takes weeks or months, not days.
Discretion: You will never reveal the project. You will sign an NDA.
Device: Reliable internet and a laptop or smartphone.
Nice-to-Haves (Not Required)
You already have an active Reddit account with some karma.
You are a member of any luxury, car, watch, or investment forum.
You enjoy role-playing or creative writing as a hobby.
Who You Are
You spend time on Reddit, Twitter, or niche forums for fun.
You know when someone is "selling" vs. "sharing."
You are patient and don't need immediate applause.
Send your CV and a short note or intro video describing your favourite online community (subreddit, forum, Discord) and why you enjoy it to contact@africanalliance.group
